UNC Charlotte will return to modified on-campus operations through the implementation of a phased return of employees in anticipation of a return to fall classes on Sept. 7, 2020. The return will be done in accordance with the University’s highest operational needs and with additional safety measures in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
If you can telework, you should continue to do so until your supervisor indicates you are needed to return.
Please use this information to help ease the transition back to campus. You can download a full Faculty and Staff Return-to-Work Guide for more information.
CHANGES AND UPDATES
It is important to note that information about the COVID-19 pandemic will continue to expand and evolve over time. As it does, guidance from the University will likely change, too. We will continue to follow the directives of the UNC System and public health officials to ensure we are taking all steps necessary to help protect the health of Niner Nation, and will keep our community updated through Niner Notices and updates at emergency.uncc.edu/coronavirus.
EXPECTATIONS OF EMPLOYEES
All employees of UNC Charlotte are expected to comply with the requirements outlined here, as well as any additional guidance they receive from the University and/or their supervisors. Everyone’s cooperation and support will be critical in keeping Niner Nation safe and healthy.
Keeping Niner Nation safe and healthy is going to take all of us. Please do your part to protect yourself, your fellow students and the rest of Niner Nation.
